"Erm," Will says doubtfully, in the tones of a man prepared to believe his beloved walks on water but not quite prepared to countenance poker. Elizabeth shuffles with a flourish and deals three hands. "There's nothing wrong with a friendly game of cards," she says firmly. "I'm just not sure it's right," Will says forlornly. "Besides, I don't know how to play." Jack's eyes meet Elizabeth's over the cards. "We won't play for money, then," he soothes with a slow smile. Six hands later Will's hat has taken up strategic residence in his lap, and Elizabeth is holding four aces.
